Extra Ad Accounts & Team Member Add-Ons
AdStellar allows you to purchase add-ons at any time to expand your team's capabilities. Add-ons are flexible, instantly applied, and follow the same billing frequency as your subscription (monthly or annual).

How Add-Ons Are Billed
Upgrades are prorated.
If you add an ad account or team member in the middle of your billing cycle, you’ll only be charged for the remaining time in that cycle for that add on.Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Removing an add-on won’t reduce your current cycle’s charge but will adjust your subscription when the next cycle begins.
How to Add or Remove Add-Ons
Navigate to the dropdown in the app menu and click Billing & Subscription
Under Team Usage, select Add More next to Ad Accounts or Team Members
Choose your desired quantity
Review the updated subscription price
Click Confirm Plan Change
Changes are applied immediately, and updated limits appear in your Team Usage panel.
AI Credits
What Are AI Credits?
AI credits are the usage currency for the AI Campaign Builder. Anytime the AI automatically generates campaign components for you, credits are consumed.
Only AI-generated campaigns use credits.
Manually created campaigns do not use credits.
AI credits allow you to generate ad sets and ads instantly without doing the work manually.
How Credits Are Calculated
Credits are used based on what the AI generates:
1 ad set = 1 credit
1 ad = 1 credit
Example
If you generate a campaign with:
3 ad sets
6 ads (2 per ad set)
Total AI credits used: 9
(3 ad sets + 6 ads)
Included Credits by Plan
Each subscription plan includes a set number of AI credits per billing period.

Important Notes
Credits reset at the start of each billing period.
Credits do not roll over.
Use them before your cycle renews.

Monthly Plans
Credits reset every month on your billing anniversary
On-demand usage resets to $0
Included credits refresh automatically
Annual Plans
Credits reset once per year on your billing anniversary
You receive the full annual credit allocation upfront
On-demand usage resets annually
Upgrading your plan resets your credits immediately and gives you the new plan’s full allocation.
Viewing Your Credit Balance
To check your remaining credits:
Go to Manage Subscription
View your usage summary, including:
Remaining included credits
Credits used in the current period
On-Demand Usage
What Happens When You Use All Your Credits?
Once you’ve used all included credits, you can continue generating campaigns with On-Demand Usage.
You can turn off On-Demand Usage billing by navigating to the Billing & Subscription page in the app.
You can disable on-demand usage anytime:

When disabled, you’ll be unable to generate AI campaigns once your included credits run out unless you upgrade your plan or wait for your reset.
AI Credits: On-Demand Usage
$0.25 per credit
Billed only for usage beyond your included amount
Example
You’re on the Pro plan (250 included credits). You’ve used 240 credits and generate a campaign requiring 20 credits:
First 10 credits → covered by your remaining included credits
Next 10 credits → $2.50 (10 × $0.25)
How On-Demand Billing Works
On-demand charges are billed automatically when:
You reach the billing threshold
Default threshold: $100
When your on-demand total hits $100, you’ll be automatically charged
Your billing period ends
Remaining on-demand charges are billed at the end of the cycle
Hobby and Pro plan are $100 billing threshold. Ultra and Enterprise plans are $500 billing threshold. Charges are grouped so you aren’t billed for every individual credit.
Turning Off On-Demand Credits
You can disable on-demand usage anytime.
Go to Settings → Billing
Find On-Demand Credits
Toggle Off
When disabled, you’ll be unable to generate AI campaigns once your included credits run out unless you upgrade your plan or wait for your reset.
On-Demand Usage Spending Limits
You can set a spending limit to control how much you can be charged for on-demand credits during a billing period.
How to Set a Limit
Go to Settings → Billing
Select Set Spending Limit
Enter your maximum allowed amount (e.g., $50 or $200)
Save
How It Works
If generating a campaign would exceed your limit, the request is blocked
You’ll receive a notification explaining why
You can raise or remove the limit anytime
Bonus AI Credits
Bonus Credits are extra AI credits you earn by referring friends to AdStellar.
Here's how it works:
When someone signs up using your referral link and starts a paid subscription, you both get 200 bonus credits. You get 200, and your friend gets 200 too. Win-win! 🎉
A few things to know:
They never expire. Unlike your monthly plan credits that reset each billing cycle, bonus credits stick around in your account until you use them.
They're used second. When you run AI features, we use your included plan credits first. Once those run out, we dip into your bonus credits. And if you have usage-based billing enabled, that only kicks in after your bonus credits are gone too.
No limit on referrals. Keep sharing your link—every friend that converts means another 200 bonus credits for you.
So if you're on the Pro plan with 250 monthly credits and you've referred two friends, you'd have 250 + 400 = 650 total credits available that month (and those 400 bonus credits carry over if you don't use them all).
Managing Your Subscription
Upgrading
Go to Billing & Subscription
Click Change Plan
Choose your preferred plan
Confirm
Upgrades take effect immediately and credit allocations reset to your new plan.
Downgrading
Go to Billing & Subscription
Select Change Plan
Choose your new plan
Confirm
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Canceling
Go to Billing & Subscription
Click Manage Subscription
Click Cancel Plan
Confirm
You’ll retain access until your current billing subscription period ends.
Billing & AI Credit FAQs
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset each billing cycle and unused credits do not carry over.
Can I buy credits without a subscription?
No. AI credits are only available to subscribers.
Will I be charged for on-demand usage if I cancel?
Yes. Any on-demand credits used before cancellation will be billed.
What happens if I exceed my launch limit on Hobby?
You must wait until your next cycle or upgrade to Pro/Ultra.
Can I add more than 7 ad accounts?
Yes — ad accounts are $49 /month per additional ad account.
How do I get more included credits?
You have two options for getting more credits:
Use On-Demand Credits
Once you’ve used all your included monthly credits, AdStellar will automatically use on-demand credits so you can keep generating campaigns without interruption.Cost: $0.25 per credit
You can turn on/off on-demand usage or set a spending limit in Settings → Billing.
Upgrade Your Plan
Upgrading to a higher subscription increases your included monthly credits and is often more cost-effective if you rely heavily on AI generation.
What counts as an “ad”?
Each unique ad variation generated by AI counts as 1 credit — including copy, creative, and targeting combinations.
Are there hidden fees?
No. You only pay your subscription plus any on-demand credit usage or team member & ad account add ons.
